Paper labels GLOSS (without overprint)
GLOSS semi-gloss self-adhesive paper labels (coated) are excellent for thermal transfer printing, i.e., using dye ribbons. They are made of high-gloss coated material. The material comes from sustainably managed forests with FSC and PEFC certification. They provide high-quality prints and barcode readability. GLOSS labels can be pre-printed in color using flexographic printing. Recently, biodegradable adhesive constructions have appeared on the market. This material is smooth and non-absorbent, which allows for good finishing effects using cold stamping and cold lamination. Standard semi-gloss labels do not adhere well to uneven surfaces; it is best to test samples for a given non-flat surface unless wrinkles appear during application. Wrinkles can be avoided by using thicker materials or an appropriate automatic applicator. APPLICATION: They are most commonly used to mark products. These are general-purpose labels used in almost all industries. GLOSS paper has a coated surface that is not absorbent; unfortunately, stamping does not work because the print smears and writing on this surface with a pen is difficult.
THERMAL TRANSFER PRINTING WITH TTR FILM. Variable information, additional data, and barcodes are printed using thermal transfer technology. Gloss semi-gloss coated paper is best printed with wax-resin and resin ribbons due to the print’s abrasion resistance. We do not recommend printing with the cheapest dye ribbons. However, despite recommendations on semi-gloss GLOSS paper labels for economic reasons, customers often print with cheap wax thermal transfer ribbons.
APPLICATIONS WITH ADHESIVE.
