Labels for pharmacy

Labels used in pharmacy are applied to materials of various shapes, most often to small and rounded surfaces such as test tubes, containers, syringes, vials. These are surfaces that are difficult to apply. Storing goods at low temperatures requires special labels, top material and adhesive. For units conducting scientific research in the field of medicine and biology, specialized self-adhesive labels for deep freezing are recommended. They are resistant to storage conditions and forms of laboratory sterilization. An important significant factor in the case of pharmaceutical labels is that the edges of the label rise, not bend after application to the packaging. It is important that the label is not too stiff so as not to try to return to its original shape. Pharmaceutical labels differ from labels for pharmacies in the adhesive used, which has high initial adhesion. This prevents them from peeling off surfaces with non-standard curvature. When labels are to be sterilized, white PP foil labels with a special adhesive are used. When labels are to be cheap and used on containers, paper material is used with fibers arranged in such a way as to avoid the problem of straightening labels. In the pharmaceutical industry, mainly paper surfaces with the strongest gloss are used where the customer wants to have a better shine of the material. The most popular material is PHARMAGLOSS paper and PE-HD foil for blood bags.
